Infertility and Shoulder Pain

This is my Story….
My life has significantly changed and improved for the better since seeing Dr. Bergman on a regular basis. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for four years with no success. This was the reason I had sought out Dr. Bergman’s care.

Within one month, we conceived and sustained our pregnancy and now have a very happy six month old son in our lives.

This is a testimonial for Dr. John Bergman and importance of chiropractic to our mental and physical health and well being for the betterment of our lives.

The first chiropractic treatment I had ever had in my life was administered by Dr. John Bergman on March 24, 2008. I have been acquainted with many chiropractors in my career, in connection with business groups, but the element that attracted me to Dr. Bergman was not only his knowledge , but more importantly, his passion.
I was suffering from a rapidly escalating inability to walk on my right leg.  I, initially went to the physical therapist, and found that to be ineffective, time consuming, and expensive.  My spine was deteriorating from 30 years of repetitive work.  Medication was not effective and dangerous since it had already caused ulcers.

I went to the Doctor and he took x-rays and blood test and told me, right then and there that I needed a hip replacement and he was going to refer me to the orthopedic surgeon.  I said "Isn't there any thing else we can try?" He couldn't give me any other options, so I went to the orthopedic surgeon and he told me that I was not ready for a hip replacement yet but to get myself a CANE and take this prescription, but to make certain I suffered this way until when carrying a heavy bag, my back finally went out.  I was on four types of medications, wearing belt and not care.  The doctor refused to take x-rays.  He ran a urine test and gave me an injection for pain in my left buttock.  It never stopped the pain.  In fact the pain escalated and was worse than ever.

On the Friday before, I had seen Dr. Bergman and told him that I was suffering with a bad back and he suggested that I call his office at 7:00am Monday morning to get in to see him, which is what I did.
When I arrived at Dr. Bergman's office I could not sit down.  Dr. Bergman and his caring staff ran tests and did complete x-rays showing me my spine, which looked like a pinched and bent drinking straw.  It was shocking, and Dr. Bergman knew how I was suffering.

Dr. Bergman gave me my first adjustment, an ice-pack and the correct belt to wear.  I had so much relief and was able to walk out of the office.  I was a definitely, now a believer of Dr. Bergman. He saw me six times that week and had given me a new lift.  I am riding my stationary bike and walked for three hours at the swap-meet yesterday without a cane, and I have not needed pain medication since I have seen Dr. Bergman.

Now here is an even more amazing chapter of my story.  I suffer from a rare type of narrow angle Glaucoma. When I was taking the pain medication, and was given the injection for pain, in urgent care, before I saw Dr. Bergman, I did not realize that it had caused my eye pressure to escalate, that it had caused blindness. This was discovered, when I saw my Glaucoma specialist.  He was alarmed, and definitely alarmed me.  I felt that this had occurred as a result of these medications.  The  Doctor's didn't seem to take acute problem and he said the pressure will come down with my treatment.  I didn't know if this would happen since the first Doctor, actually told me twice, during my visit that I was going blind.  Since that initial visit, I have three other visits to two different Glaucoma Doctors.  Each time my pressure has decreased.  Today is two months and three days since I begun being treated by Dr. Bergman, and I saw my primary Glaucoma specialist.  My eye pressure was the lowest number I have had since getting it under control, and it is normal.  I don't think the Doctor can believe that Chiropractic did this, but Dr. Bergman has done it all of this for me and I will continue to see him forever and will continue to be a living example of what this giving dedicated man can do for  you.
