Meet the Doctor

Dr. John Bergman

Dr. Bergman was born and raised in Burbank California. After graduating at 16 years old from John Burroughs High School, he did his prerequisite studies in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Bergman obtained his degree in Doctor of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles (CCCLA), California. In his spare time he enjoys, sailing, biking, camping and spending time with his 2 sons Michael and Danny. Dr. Bergman has been Serving Huntington Beach and it’s surrounding communities since May 1998.

Dr. Bergman’s practice has continued to grow serving hundreds of families, focusing on corrective and wellness care and is dedicated to pediatric development and adult health care. Dr. Bergman is a Team Member of the Waiting List Practice, the most successful Chiropractic training organization in the world. Dr. Bergman travels over 10,000 miles a year to post graduate seminars, where he learns the most advanced techniques in the world today. As a past Instructor at CCCLA in: Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, and 4 Chiropractic techniques: Full Spine Specific (Palmer Method), Thompson, Diversified, and Extremity Adjusting, Dr. Bergman has an extensive knowledge of human anatomy and human physiology that few can match. With Dr. Bergman’s unique approach many successes can be achieved in even with the most challenging cases.

My first step towards Chiropractic care remains one of the most important steps I've ever taken in my life. Not only has it been phenomenal seeing my own personal progress, but of the hundreds that walk through our doors everyday.  Minnie Douglass

My husband Rich and I have 3 amazing children Jeremy 20, Josh 17 and Julia 6. I enjoy spending time with my family watching a good movie, a walk on the beach and BBQ. My interest was peaked on the benefits on Chiropractic when I heard Dr Bergman speak at a lunch & learn at my previous employer. About a month later my daughter Julia who is a gymnast was complaining about a pain in her neck and I immediately remembered Dr. Bergman. After 6 months of being adjusted and educated on chiropractic I knew I needed to be a part of this team and share my love for chiropractic. I have had the opportunity to witness amazing health results. Patients have shared their extraordinary results from reducing or eliminating blood pressure medication to children no longer living with chronic ear infections. My son Josh has had asthma since an infant since he has been a patient of Dr Bergman he is no longer taking anti-biotics, an inhaler and steroids. I look forward to helping families reach their full health potential thru natural chiropractic.

Michael Bergman

           I'm the son of Dr. John Bergman, you might have seen me running around the office making flyers, fixing computers, and/or helping my father.  I have many duties which I perform at Bergman Family Chiropractic, but the most important is becoming a future chiropractor.  I plan to continue the tradition of chiropractic in our family, which will add a whole new meaning to Bergman "Family" Chiropractic. :)   I'm currently attending Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles to get my Doctorate in Chiropractic.  Even though I have many years until my doctorate will be completed I look forward to the day I can work along side my father... Father and Son chiropractors.... changing the world one spine at a time!!

            Many people have asked me why I've chosen chiropractic as my profession.  Well, all I can say is WHY NOT?!!!!  What other professions give you the opportunity to see the life force of the body released and restored through the simple movement of bones?   What other profession allows you to help people achieve optimal health without the use of drugs or surgery?  What other profession offers the chance to change the lives of every single person on the planet?!!!!   

           So, in about 5 years I'll be done with my doctorate and you'll see me right next to my father, adjusting hundreds of people and seeing incredible miracles of healing occur everyday.
